High Five Day

A white cloth glove with the palm facing upwards, with slight discolouration around the fingers and cuff and two small black buttons near the bottom of the thumb, photographed flat on a plain white background.

Every April 18th we rejoice in the rapid connection of two people’s palms in celebration.  This year we’re missing our high-fives, as they have proven difficult when socially distancing.   This men’s glove (80.14.37) was more likely used for handshakes (or cheek-slapping!), but we feel it would be a dapper alternative to the latex and nitrile gloves we use to protect ourselves today.   Up top!
